Debra Farea is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in both New York and Connecticut. After starting her career at KPMG and consulting at American Express, Debra earned her MBA at NYU Stern School of Business and opened her own tax practice. She has over 15 years of experience assisting individuals, small businesses and estates/trusts not only with tax requirements but developing financial budgets and projections, analyzing retirement options and forecasting.
Over the last few years, she has assisted many clients decipher their divorce decrees from a tax planning and budgeting perspective. Witnessing the need for more proactive and comprehensive financial guidance in the divorce process, she made the decision to become a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®). Armed with her CPA background and fueled by a passion for empowering individuals through financial literacy, Debra is committed to serving her clients with greater insight, empathy, and expertise.
